I’ve been playing on and off so I don’t spoil to much for myself whenever this game decides to go full release, and I love the simplicity of it as well as the story. I cannot tell you how INCREDIBLE this story is. This storytelling has me genuinely invested and locked in to the characters and narrative, while also giving you wonderful freedom to do time travel stuff. I hope one day a large investment opportunity is bestowed upon this developer, a full studio and team is assembled, and find the chance turn this concept into a near  title.TOP/BEST ADULT VIDEO GAMES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

If I had the knowledge and money to help fund this into a current gen game I absolutely would. I hope good things come to the person/people making this and they live a happy life. With its silliness and promise of time-travel-related shenanigans, No Time To Explain immediately caught my attention. I like platformers that aren’t afraid to kick my ass, as I’m sure many of you do. But — and this is incredibly important — only when it feels like I’m the one making mistakes, not the game. Too many deaths perceived as “cheap,” and I’ll stop enjoying myself. That is, unfortunately, the trap this game falls into. The premise is that you’re traveling through time to save different versions of yourself. You are always armed with this jetpack-gun hybrid, which is good, because you’ll need to get through a bunch of dangerous universes to see your quest through. Left clicking fires off your jetpack, and when used in conjunction with your character’s regular jump, you can get past otherwise unnavigable obstacles. Problem is, No Time To Explain doesn’t “capture” your cursor, so you have to move your on-screen, totally visible mouse pointer around your character very precisely.

Stalk your past selves in time!

It’s amazingly easy to click off screen, usually resulting in death. I wager at least half of my deaths stemmed from issues with the controls. (At the time of writing, gamepads were not supported.) My first impressions were difficult. I had trouble with the car, struggled with money, struggled with fuel, could not fly, time travelled to 0001 ad and could not find any uranium to go back. I replayed the tutorial many times. Over and over and over just so that I could get better. I got fed up and thought to myself…”You know what….just go play blindly”. So that’s what I’ve done. This is one of those games where you just become better as you play.Alright now to the good stuff! What do I like about this game. Everything! Ok, I supposed I should at the very least make some points about it. Those are the more interesting things that I found this game could do. As for that thinking outside of the box problem.. his game has the same type of energy that Bethesda’s Morrowind has. It throws you into the game and tells you “Yeah sure fam, here are the controls k bye lmao”. Then it leaves you alone and you are left thinking… “What am I supposed to do” Well buddy, do whatever you want I suppose. Go save a bank robbery, get a lifetime supply of crab, eat some trash out of the bin.Space Dave Switch NSP

Go do the main storyline, annoy the narrator, solve a crime, travel back in time to say hi to yourself (Make sure to get out of your car and say hello), fight a satanic boss, say hi to Jesus, meet Batman (The crab version), Watch the Sheriff take on 20 bandits. You can go do all that. How cool is that. There’s only one thing that I really dislike about this game…. So I guess this is more of a like, but ugh…I LOVE this game. All in all. This may not be the game of the year, but it is MY game of the year. Thank you so much for making this game. I look forward towards the next update. Thanks for making the end of my year so amazing. The good news is that the majority of checkpoints are quite generous. You will often respawn immediately at your character’s last safe location prior to him dying. If movement felt more precise and consistent, then I would’ve had a vastly superior experience. The game is intended to challenge you, just not like this. No Time To Explain does a few things to mix up the action. At one point, your laser-firing jetpack-gun thing is swapped out for one that behaves more like a shotgun. I found it to be pretty fun, partially because I had fewer control problems when using it. tiny Build has also included a few bosses, all of which are completely ridiculous, and a one-off side-scrolling shooter level.

An open world that changes based on the time period.

Most of these were not particularly tough to beat or deep, but even still, I am glad they were implemented. The full game can be completed in a few hours, which is relatively fair for the price; additionally, there are bonus and user-made levels. And now we get to the really disappointing stuff. No Time To Explain suffers from a number of bugs, some of which are game-breaking. The first patch fixed enough to allow me to see the game through, but it sounds like certain users are still having major issues, especially on the non-Windows versions. After enough in-game deaths, your character will eventually make this extremely angry face like he’s about to give up. The first time I saw it, I soon realized I had been making a similar face myself for who knows how long. It was at this point I had to ask myself, “Why are you still spending your time on this?” Looking over the forums, it seems as if the developers are actively paying attention, and seemingly working on follow-up patches. That’s good. But in its current state, No Time To Explain is in serious need of polish. One day, this might be a solid platformer, because the concept is fun and worth iterating upon.Metal Commando Switch NSP

For now, though, the annoyances aren’t worth putting up with. I badly want to love this game because it really fulfills its promise of letting you play out your time travelling fantasies. The first time I went back and stalked my past self – and THEN stalked my past self stalking my past self (and so on) it was magical. BUT, it’s quite buggy, there’s lots of rough edges, and it’s quite odd when the game occasionally tries to be Fallout for no reason. If the dev uses their profits to hire some people and refine the game OR make a sequel, it could truly be something really amazing. For now though, this is a really fun experiment. Bought the game, started it, saw my time machine was low on Uranium fuel, so I drove my time machine back to an hour earlier in time to steal fuel from my past self, then I went back two hours earlier in time to steal from my past self again. I now have three times more Uranium fuel than I am supposed to. Ah, nothing beats a good ol fashioned robbery against your past self. THIS GAME IS AMAZING. RECOMMENDED I am now 32 hours into the game, basically been playing this game for the past 10 days. Just now finished ACT 3 and started on the Epilogue. Omg, the scale of this game was waaaaay bigger than I had expected. I was expecting maybe 5 to 6 hours since this is an early access release.

A main story with up to 12 hours of playtime!

But it exceeded my expectations in every way possible! The storytelling in the main missions had been quite stellar, the main story line takes influences from sci-fi classics like Back to The Future, Terminator. The side stories range from Batman to Cthulhu. Overall, i am very satisfied with playing this game. One of the best physical time travel simulator games if not THE best physical time travel game I have ever played. Absolutely recommended to all time travel lovers. this is a great game to just sit down and mess around with or if you like somewhat intense fight scenes then you should try this out because even though the fight scenes aren’t the best they are still pretty cool. i also love how the developers showed the intention to detail when you travel through time. honestly a great game definitely think you should buy this game You now have the ability to beat your more successful friends with this fake life simulator. To win the game, you have to work your way up the corporate ladder, educate yourself and keep your sanity. This might seem easy, but working and studying your ass off will strain even the most iron-willed of your friends. It almost seems like there is no time to relax!

This game is really going to go far. It is a very interesting concept for a game! I love how the map changes when you time travel. You feel like you’re really time traveling! You can even see your past self reenact all of your actions! I accidentally left a Fusion Cell in 2014 and I saw myself leave them on the ground and I flew away to 1885! Very very addicting game. Especially with the hover conversion. It makes it a lot easier to time travel. I rate this 11/10. I wonder if someone will make a mod where it turns the DeLorean into the one from Back to the Future. And turn the Sir. Atom into a Mr. Fusion! If you’re a really intense Back to the Future fan like I am, this game is definitely the game for you. No Time Free Download, go on a trip through time! Experience the freedom of traveling into any date, hour and minute in time between the years 1 and 2030! Help your best friend Edward in his scientific affairs! Watch out for the Time Agents & avoid yourself! 16 Just the way the time travel works is so cool. The fact that you can see your past self is insane. The story line is amazing, probably the best part! I can’t wait until the finale comes out! Edit: The finale, act 3, finally came out a few days ago. It. Was. AMAZING. Even though I had to play through act 1 and 2 again, they felt like a brand new story because of the revamps. It has a lot of bugs at the moment but it gets update VERY often to fix those bugs. Definitely recommend!

After you escaped with a time machine from a secret facility you go on a trip through time. Visit all possible time periods with specific jobs and quests for each of them. But watch out for the Time Agents. And avoid yourself! This is THE Time Travel Simulator. A nice mix of simulator, story and action, “No Time” takes you on a trip through time. Just type any date from 0 AD onwards… Above all make sure to avoid yourself and not to behave out of place in the past! To avoid spoilers we will be vague about the plot. You are a time traveler which escapes with a time machine. The campaign starts out slow with you meeting some familiar faces (you learn who they are overtime). Then the campaign picks up and up to reveal major plot twists and amazing story and character development. As a concept it’s been heard of before, but it is this game’s execution that makes it entirely it’s own and a stand out example of game design. For myself, I’ve found it to be a perfect backseat gaming experience with a significant other who likes to watch or take turns, as a lot of the fun to be had is simply scheming in how to get what you want with the voice in the back of your head saying “Surely that won’t work/they didn’t think of that, etc” In one experience, hearing about a flower some incel needed to schmooze his target female, my lady and I took it upon ourselves to seek said flower.
