Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher Switch NSP  Free Download GAMESPACK.NET In the world of Monster Rancher, bigger doesn’t always mean better, but it certainly doesn’t hurt. The newest entry in the series, Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher, takes this philosophy and turns it up to epic proportions, creating a world filled with monsters the size of mountains that need to be fed, trained, and loved to reach their full potential. This is Monster Rancher gameplay but on a much grander scale. This new title is the result of a team-up between two much-loved franchises; Ultraman, the long-running Japanese superhero show, and Monster Rancher. However if like many people in the English-speaking world you’re not as familiar with the former as you are with the latter, don’t be worried. While several Ultraman forms show up in this game, it is much more of a Monster Rancher title than a tokusatsu game. Many of the iconic monsters from Ultraman are available for you to raise and fight, but no specific knowledge of the series is necessary. Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is very close to previous Monster Rancher games. Monsters start trapped in stone disks and are unlocked by placing them on an altar in town. In the original game, these represented music CDs that could be placed into the console to spawn new monsters. It was one of the things that made the early games unique — and one of the common complaints around the Monster Rancher 1 & 2 DX collection was that it didn’t have this functionality. But, for this game, the developers have offered a few workarounds. Players can input a few keywords into the menu to generate a new kaiju monster to raise. This does feel completely random at times, though there is a kind of consistency to what monsters each keyword gives you. The real fun of this, though, comes from the Memory Board. Using NFC devices such as reusable bus passes, contactless bank cards, and, of course, amiibo figurines, players can also generate random monsters by holding these items over their controllers. It isn’t quite the same as digging through your CD collection to see what your favourite album can get you, but it creates a similar feeling as you’re still turning something in your physical space into a monster in the game. Once you’ve got a monster that you’re happy with, you can head to your ranch and start raising them.

The real challenge comes from the occasional fights under taken in tournaments or by attacking foes.

This part plays out exactly like in previous Monster Rancher titles. You spend weeks sending your kaiju on jobs that raise their stats, then enter them into tournaments to earn money and glory by fighting other giant monsters. Occasionally you’ll be visited by other trainers you’ve encountered in tournaments and, once this happens, you’ll have the chance to send your monster to their place to train for a month. Sometimes, these trainers’ kaiju will also show up at your training ground looking for a fight. But most weeks in the game pass by in a train-rest-fight cycle. This pattern is fun, though it is very static and predictable most of the time. There’s no sense of a grander adventure waiting for you until you manage to rise through the ranks of the kaiju fighting world. This process can take several years of in-game time, especially since you are effectively locked into low-level tournaments until you manage to defeat a specific opponent. This was frustrating for us because we breezed through the first two tournament ranks only to be stuck on this encounter for more than a year. Crowalt Traces of the Lost Colony Switch NSP

The fact that you can only attempt this battle twice a year is even more baffling. What do the hit Japanese Tokusatsu franchise Ultraman and the Monster Rancher video games have in common? Not a lot outside of both having creatures referred to as monsters, or in Ultraman’s case usually referred to as Kaiju. That’s why it might, from an outside perspective, seem like smashing these two franchises together may not make a lot of sense at first glance. The truth of the matter is that it’s a surprising combination that works a lot better once it’s seen in motion. Ultra Kaiju Monster Rancher is the brain child of two franchises that don’t have a huge foothold outside of Japan, but make for a surprisingly fantastic and almost heart-warming unique take on giant monsters getting into a fight to see who is the strongest beast around. Outside of a selected name right from the get-go, the new monster-raising breeder that players take the role of in this title is never seen on screen. Instead taking on a mostly passive role answering questions as they are drawn into a life on an island to raise massive monsters to fight in tournaments and befriend others along the way.

Tournaments are the bread and butter of every kaiju’s training.

They’re assisted by Holly, a character from the Monster Rancher franchise, and a rather monstrous-looking felling named Kanezo whose appearance is based on the character Kanegon from the Ultraman franchise. These two aid and assist the brand new breeder on their path to becoming a master at caring for beloved kaiju who have appeared throughout both franchises with the emphasis being on monsters appearing in Ultraman. This starts with players receiving their very first kaiju who they’ll first name and then begin to raise as a massive newborn on a brand new farm. Life on the farm with a brand new kaiju starts with the most basic of animal care: feeding. Time passes one week at a time and at the beginning of every month players will select their food of choice for their kaiju companion which offers different bonuses to help balance their well being for the next four weeks. After this there are a handful of activities the kaiju is able to participate in, although they’re introduced slowly over time to make things easy. I SEE RED

The most basic of activities are drills which have the kaiju undertaking specific activities to improve their battle stats. Succeeding in these activities increases stats while failing rewards no increase. The most interesting thing about drills is they take place in different parts of the island which over repeated use can have the kaiju claiming it as their territory that they must occasionally defend from other creatures. Aside from training kaiju can also rest to relieve fatigue which lowers after most activities and anger which will increase depending on the kaiju’s feelings towards select tasks. As the player meets additional characters they’ll also unlock Errantries which allow their kaiju to be trained with another character for a month in order to rapidly increase selected stats and potentially earn them bonus abilities to take into actual fights. Developed by Bandai Namco, Ultra Kaiju sees you playing as a Monster trainer set on the Island of Istur, which used to be home to numerous Kaiju, some of them similar to previous monsters in the Monster Rancher series.

Players can input a few keywords into the menu to generate a new kaiju monster to raise.

At the same time, some are actual Kaiju seen from the Ultraman movie franchise, such as Zetton or Gomora. However, due to the kaiju’s size and destructive nature, the residents of the Island suffer from their reign of terror until Ultraman, known as the Giant of Light, appears to them one day to seal all of the Kaiju in disc stones to stop them from destroying the Island. The disc stones were sealed away until they were discovered again one day and used to tame and train the Kaiju so they could live together peacefully with the residents of Latour. The Trainer that you play as is one of these people, having recently graduated from a Monster Breeder Academy, although they need all the help they can get to train the Kaiju of their choosing. Helping them is Monster Rancher mainstay, Holly, and a monster farmer named Kanezo, who helps run the player’s kaiju ranch along with his grandmother Teresa. The Ranch is where most of the training with your Kaiju takes place, where you can do various activities with them to train them for tournaments that your Kaiju can take part in for cash rewards, as well as raising your breeder rank.

However, you can’t raise your Kaiju forever, as they age in the game, and after every three or four years, they will eventually stop fighting and retire, causing you to get another memory board to raise a new kaiju in their place. Therefore, you can only raise one Kaiju at a time unless you decide to fuse or sell it off to the Monster Association. Memory boards in Ultra Kaiju are one of its main mechanics, which take the form of UFC cards you can buy in real life that you can place on your switch to summon various Monster Rancher monsters and Kaiju to raise. The Monster Association also offers monthly free monsters that you can raise if you don’t have any memory board cards. One of the first activities that you can do is to send your Kaiju out to do “drills” around Latour, which involves having your Kaiju do various kinds of training to help raise their stats, such as moving trees or cooking food and the more that you train a Kaiju in a particular area in Latour, they will eventually mark it as their territory. However, they will eventually get bored of the area and demand a new place to do their drills.

Sometimes rogue Kaiju will appear to decrease the monster’s territory, allowing you to battle them to increase their stats further.  How well your Kaiju performs during these drills also depends on the fatigue state that they’re in. The lower the fatigue, the more likely they will fail the drill even if they’re in their preferred scenery. Failure to train correctly will make your Kaiju angrier, or they will slack off unless they rest for an in-game week. At the start of every month, you can give your Kaiju a variety of food for it to eat, as well as add certain spices in it that will improve your Kaiju’s performance in the coming month, such as having a slower chance to become fatigued during training or increasing or decreasing their weight. Feeding them the wrong food will cause their intrigue and anger to increase, so choose what they should eat wisely. In certain moments, should you feel as though your Kaiju hasn’t impressed you, you can scold them, which will cause them to listen to you more, but in the process, they will grow angry. However, you can also encourage them, too, if they feel they have let you down, which will decrease their anger. Star Trek Prodigy: Supernova Switch NSP
