Potion Craft Alchemist Simulator Free Download GAMESPACK.NET Have you ever wanted to brew your own potions? I have and now I’ve had the chance to brew some! Developers Nice Play Games have got together with publishers TinyBuild and released Potion Craft: Alchemist Simulator on Early Access on Steam. Let us see what concoction we can make! The game begins with a short storyboard, you’re a novice alchemist who happens to come across an old abandoned house on the edge of town. You decide to take up residence in the house that just so happens to have old alchemy equipment in it. The story isn’t much but it does lay the groundwork for why you are brewing potions. So begins your adventure in this click and point game. There is a tutorial to teach you the basics of being a master Alchemist and it explains it all pretty well. Discovering recipes to brew for your potion is really down to you to do some experiments and throwing ingredients together to see what brews from it. I’m sure we have all played games that have involved potion making at some point. It has never felt that tactile to me as you’re just clicking a button on a controller and the potion is brewed.TOP/BEST ADULT VIDEO GAMES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

The difference with Potion Craft is you have to take part in each step of the brewing process it has a physical quality to it. First off you collect your herbs and ingredients from the enchanted garden each morning. You can also buy mushrooms and other ingredients from passing tradespeople that stop by your potion shop. People appear in your shop with different requirements for potions, and you have to brew said potion and then sell them the result, hopefully making them happy and giving you a nice few coins of gold in return. It is really simple to brew potions. You take your ingredients from your inventory on the right of the screen. Pick, drag and drop the ingredients you need into the mortar and pestle. Then using the mouse and grabbing the pestle you grind the ingredients down. Pick the ingredient up and drop them in the cauldron. After adding ingredients into the cauldron you can stir the potion using the spoon by clicking and holding the spoon with the mouse. You also need to pay attention to the map on the wall as it shows the path the ingredients will take once they are added to the cauldron. Stirring the potion advances the potion icon along the map which has icons of experience and effects on it for you to earn.

Unique visuals inspired by medieval manuscripts and medical books.

It is a little like taking your potion on an adventure, with a map full of magical effects and dangers, some you want to land on and others you’ll want to avoid. Each ingredient takes the potion in a specific direction. The ingredients all follow their own unique path on the map. The more ingredients you add, the further afield your potion goes, passing through experience pathways and effects until you decide you’re done. You can save the recipe to the recipe book to use again. In between brewing potions you have customers who pay a visit to your shop. You don’t have to go far to see your customer, it’s a click of the screen to the left and there they all are waiting in an orderly line. If you don’t have the particular potion the customer wants they will wait until you brew the potion. You can barter with the customer to get a good price for your potion or take the price they offer. It’s very satisfying to throw ingredients into the mortar and pestle and give it a good bashing. I love the way the game has a lot of little touches. Such as the mortar being stained from the ingredients being ground down in it.Resident Evil Village

Or the cranking of the bellows to increase the fire under the cauldron. Even stirring the cauldron with the wee puff of smoke when the potion is ready and experimenting with ingredients it’s just as satisfying. As you brew potions and adventure around the map you earn Talent points. These are then used to increase your talents as an Alchemist on the Talent screen. You can increase your visibility on the foggy map so you can see more of it. Increase your haggling skill, trading and potion brewing skills as well. Potion Craft is released on Early Access, and so far I haven’t encountered any problems with the performance of the game. It has run smoothly and everything works as it should. The controls feel intuitive and it really does feel like you are brewing the potions yourself by hand. The hand-drawn graphics are very suited to the subject with their medieval look, and the sound effects fit with the environment of the game too. Developers Nice Play Games have lots of future plans for Potion Craft with further updates planned.

With new features, items and upgrades in the full game. I’m not sure about your history with browser-based games in the Flash era, but it was a time when I’d take a chance on unassuming games and wind up playing obsessively until I’d seen and done everything. Potion Craft hit me in a similar way — it has a simple but very effective illustrated style and a laid-back “friendly shopkeep” vibe that sucked me right in. And, I’m surprised to say, the potion-crafting mechanic is pretty fun to figure out. With an up-and-coming shop, every day you’ll pluck plants from your garden, combine them in a ton of potential different ways to concoct potions as efficiently as possible, and sell them to meet customers’ requests, some of which are hazy at best. There’s some light XP-based progression unlocks (e.g., to improve your haggling or trading prowess), and some bigger goals like an Alchemy Machine to work toward, but that’s the gist. The mechanics of Potion Craft are easy enough to grasp — this is a mouse-based game where you physically drag ingredients, mash ’em up, plop them into a cauldron, and heat up the mix, rinse and repeat.Succubus Cafe

The trickier part is making the most of your harvested (and purchased) ingredients each day; figuring out the optimal use of what you’ve got and what you ideally need to deliver. If you can keep every would-be customer happy, you’ll have a great reputation. But if you try and hand them the wrong type of potion, or you just don’t have the ingredients you need that day and you have to refuse them, they’ll be grouchy. About those potions: instead of mindlessly grabbing a bit of this and a bit of that to make a particular blend the same way every single time, Potion Craft allows for — and eventually demands — more creativity. When you’re brewing, you’ll see a map with some good icons (like XP-granting books) and some bad icons (like piles of skulls and bones). Each ingredient has its own pre-determined “path” it will form on the alchemic map, and by strategically combining ingredients, one after the other, you’ll be able to “build” a route that lets you snake your way around to avoid the potion-ruining spots and ultimately land on a final marker that corresponds to a potion type.

Hyper satisfying physical interactions with ingredients and equipment.

While that’s a pretty wordy way of breaking it down (honestly, consult the trailer), in practice, it’s easy. There’s depth, though. What’s interesting is that you have a lot of control over how these “routes” are built on the map — you can brute force it with a bunch of repetitive ingredients that cover little ground but aren’t zany and hard to plot out, you can use the raw ingredient or crush it to alter the length of the trail, and you can add a bit of water to your cauldron to nudge your position on the map back toward the starting point. It’s a pretty novel mechanic for a crafting game, and combined with the wider shopkeeper sim progression, it’s a fun blend. Once you’ve created a potion, you can save the recipe, at which point you no longer need to manually assemble it again (assuming you have the exact same ingredients). After my 90-minute session, I ranked up a few times by consistently selling the right potions without turning too many folks away, and I checked off all of the goals in the first two chapters of the Alchemist’s Path book, so I made a good dent. At the same time, the rate at which I’m progressing has slowed significantly.

The long game — the big-picture strategy — is still eluding me. Operating my shop in a sustainable way, without playing so fast and loose that I run the risk of eroding my alchemist’s reputation, will be tough. Now I know what you’re thinking: “Early Access? Let’s just save this for a rainy day.” I get that, and I feel the same way about the majority of work-in-progress games, but everything here is polished up, and I think there’s enough content already to warrant not waiting. It’s a satisfying loop, even if there are some missing features (certain buttons have a “still in early access” caveat) and the options (including controls) are sparse. Speaking of which, I really dig this visual breakdown of what’s next for the game: Created by Russian indie developers niceplay Games, who previously only released mobile games like Potionous and Wizard Swipe, it’s clear to see that the themes of magical potion brewing and alchemy were long-running ideas years before their first PC game, Potion Craft, came into fruition. clearly knew a good thing when they saw it, picking up Potion Craft for a demo release in February 2021.  The unique alchemy shop management simulator grew in popularity on social media, launching in Early Access 7 months later. Potion Craft thrives mostly on a highly interactive click-and-drag style of gameplay. Unlike some management simulators that require you to click on a button and wait for the process to be done, you play an involved part of your alchemist journey every step of the way. Pick flowers and herbs in your overgrown alchemist’s garden for your potion recipes, manually grind up your ingredients in your trusty pestle and mortar, mix your bubbling cauldron, and guide your potion vial around the map to unlock new and stronger types of concoctions. But crafting and discovering new recipes alone is not enough! You then need to help out the townsfolk who turn up to your shop every day, either by selling them the right type of potion, or haggling with them through dialogue options. Just take care not to haggle too much, or your hard-earned reputation as the town alchemist may plummet!Burnout Paradise Remastered
