THE SACRED ACORN Free Download GAMESPACK.NET Hello kind redditors, we have been working on this game in our spare time and recently got the chance to start working on it more seriously, so stay a while and listen. You play as Ima the squirrel, taking the journey to restore the land by learning fantastical abilities to defeat foes, solve puzzles, explore the unexplored and restore peace to Tansira. The Sacred Acorn is a top down action adventure with a vibrant animated art style. Expect to have challenging combat, exploration and lore that will have you questioning what is really happening in this world, not everything is always as it seems and there is plenty of secrets to find. You will need to develop your style of play by leading Ima’s powers through her upgrade tree (yes its a literal tree in the game) and focus on different branches to expand your powers. We are going to release the game on PC and want to come to consoles after. We have a lot of work to do for that. There is a demo to play on steam now though, so please wish list to help our game and we hope you enjoy it when we can bring it to you all. Cool game without a lengthy intro, got straight into the game which is awesome! Story seems fun overall and love the concept of being a squirrel. The ‘mana bar’ and ‘health orbs’ were slightly confusing to begin with, was hard to tell which was which and first death happened because of it. Needs an option to reduce text speed when talking to NPCs as it moves quickly. Attacking in the early game feels kinda hard to time with mouse and keyboard. If I’m trying to be cute and time it really well, I found myself turning around and facing the wrong direction for my attack before the animation finished. Maybe a slight delay on the animation to help with timing? An awesome game with cute characters, an original artstyle and Hollow-Like gameplay. I found myself exploring every corner of the map to leave no stone unturned for hidden upgrades or secrets. The boss fights are not too difficult, they are just challenging enough to enjoy without frustration. The devs are active in responding to community feedback about bugs and gameplay issues and are quick to patch any of these issues as they are brought to their attention. As an early tester for this game, it is amazing to see how much it has grown and how much has been added since the early playtests. I applaud all of the hard work that went into this game and highly recommend giving this game a go. THOSE GAMES 2
