The sex-scenes are good in a typical pornhub first page manner. They are all vanilla-favlored, with the typical dick goes to “X/Y/Z” hole formula and a heavy dose of basic lesbian stuff. A bodyguard barbarian-chick who also like it dirty but with a less mean streak than the first waifu. The ~married~ resistance fighter who covers the cheating kinks.The captured princess who you can either humiliate or simp over. After these 5 there are plenty of other side-chicks in the game. The main issue is, you can barely tell them apart in terms of covered kinks. Other than the resistance fighter, the rest are all pretty much interchangable in their scenes.

Overall, the game is not offensive, just blunt. I will probably buy it as soon as it gets a discount to support the devs, since it is clearly of a high production value, but both the writing and the variety of the sex scenes leaves a lot to be desired. Game simply feels unfinished. Book of Bondmaids and it’s lady looks just like a placeholder in demo. Whole artifact plotline and princess character itself seems pointless, she barely has content on good side, and none on damnation. Most of sexual content (and there’s not much of it) here in general is voyeurism, despite a lot of opportunities to add actual sex without influencing flow fo the story, which is a shame. I did 2 playthroughs and ended up with around 6 scenes total where MC cock get’s used, one of them missing art for sex with evil witch on damantion path (whole reason I even bothered re-playing). As far as gamepaly go – it’s short and linear VN. Arrest mechanic sucks, since all you do there is blindly guessing, you just rollback until you get the right combination, and all it influences is how much gold you end up with. You choose between 2 linear paths at start (and they just converge into one later on anyway) , and in terms of sexual content their difference is around 2 scenes. In particular the relationship with Sparrow and Frydd on the good route were handled just so well. This is not a power fantasy fulfillment story though. The MC is a henchman, he’s been an amoral henchman his whole life (the backstory makes it clear) and you don’t suddenly turn into a shining hero/protagonist in the course of the game. You remain a henchman/tool of one power or another throughout the entire game, your agency is in choosing who (and it’s not always clear who you’re choosing either). Which I think was excellent! I’ve never seen a game porn or not, that really characterized or captured what being the tool of larger powers was like until this one. Based on the screenshots of the author’s previous game I seriously don’t understand how they managed to upgrade the writing so much. The previous game looks like it was written by someone who just learned english as a second language. This one had a consistent, engaging writing style that painted a picture concisely without being overly long and wordy or overly descriptive. Did they get someone else on board to do the writing? It’s honestly fucking night and day the contrast.The story is really good, but sometimes I feel that you can’t win, for what I saw the MC will end alone, doesn’t matter who you try to romance, the princess, Sparrow, Frydd, every time you will be alone, and that doesn’t make sense because all of them showed interest in the MC.

I played trying to get the redemption, so I was a good guy helping the princess and Sparrow, and almost at the end when you are kidnapped and tortured, the princess say that the MC deserves that, but he shouldn’t die because he was still useful, really?? The story try to be realistic but in a fantastic world, but many moments and conversation aren’t realistic at all. Like the Orgy party, who is so stupid to take a drug knowing that he or she is an orgy? And the next day wake up shocked and asking “how many people I fucked yesterday?” Was obvious that if you take that drug you would have sex with everyone. Other thing that doesn’t make sense is why someone that didn’t take the drug was participating in the orgy when it was supposed that she should be “working”. Very soon I realised that I do not care about adult part so much anymore, I realised that I want more of this story, I want to explore it as deep as possible. Yes, adult part of the game is great, but sex here is not a main goal, it is just an additional part of the game that makes the game world more real and colorful. I realy like it. I can find only one subjective minus – static image. I do not like games without proper animation. Like seriously, if I wanted just an image of sex scenes I would use something like google to find what I want or just use my imagination, I do not like “dead” images… So, I downloaded this game only because I was bored and couldnt find any other good adult game with hardcore sex. But, as I said, very soon the adult part of the game became very insignificant and I was totaly absorbed by the dark and deep story. Im realy impressed! I want more of this world! This is how real peace of art must look like. My deep respect to the creator of this game! I’ll be honest, this game would probably be better off as a regular game without the porn. It has a decent story that’s toying with some really interesting concepts, but as a porn game it’s decidedly lacking for a number of reasons. All your “romance” options are all kinda shitty of the “post modern sexually liberated slut” mold, and the game goes out of it’s way to lock off several actually interesting options. Despite there being a “brothel collecting” minigame implemented, it doesn’t seem to be complete, because there’s only one girl available in there, and the game goes out of it’s way to prevent you from abusing your position. Yeah you can strip search a couple of the girls you’re sent to arrest, but that’s about it. For a game that’s sold on the premise of you being the villain it goes out of it’s way to cut off any potentially villiany you could get up to in a sex game. Which brings me to my next point  You kinda suck. Not you personally, the character you play as. No matter which route you go down, you’re kind of a stooge and there’s very few situations where you get to feel like a proper hero or a villain. If you’re picking up this game thinking you’ll get to be darth vader or some kind of secret police chief that gets kickbacks in exchange for overlooking stuff, don’t even bother. I didn’t like it but i could swallow it, then i reached halfway/toward the end of the story (first playtrough is on mercenary(green) path) and it simply is too rushed. there is absolutely no transition toward end game events, you are thrown at it which disturbs the flow of the story and to put it simply, ruins the great start of it to only “its good” there aren’t that many sex scenes either, which in this particular case i didnt mind, i enjoyed it as an actual “game” personally but its worth noting if anyone is reading this wondering if he should play. i did all 3 paths but still have a quite a few scenes missing in the gallery and never managed to do anything with the princess beside gift her 10 pieces of lingerie and watch her, even though i tried work toward banging her. walktrough is not available unfortunately, so i cant look up what to do. The game has great hand drawn art and good writing. The story is decent with 3 possible paths to take (Evil, Good, Neutral). The paths don’t differ that much outside of a few different lines or scenes, but it’s nice to replay because you also receive extra gold after achieving an ending. The gameplay is going to one of the 5 different rooms and seeing if anything new is opened up (a bit tedious) to talk to someone and then doing missions. The gold is used to buy a few items for 1 character that can lead to some scenes. Speaking of scenes, unfortunately the gallery is rather poor. Despite 3 full playthroughs I seem to be missing ~7 entries, and there are no hints on how to unlock. It also doesn’t show the scenes, just still images instead of replaying the scenes. Disappointing.

Audio is held simplistic but is fitting, however the background music volume seems to vary a ton, had to go back many times and lower it because even if I set it to ~1% it will later suddenly blast at full eardrum exploding volume. Not sure if bugged or just poorly tuned. Game doesn’t allow to alter settings (such as volume) in game, so you always have to save and quit to main menu to do so, tedious. Game disables rollback, which I find annoying as it only leads to save spamming. I ran into 2 noticeable bugs, mainly an exception error with the Jester Quest (leading to having to do it twice), as well as a bugged Seamstress Quest that didn’t reward gold upon successful completion. Overall I think the game was good. Has some flaws but art+writing were convincing. I enjoyed this game much more than I thought that I would. So much, in fact, that I was motivated to write my first ever review. This lone developer, or maybe, small team has clearly learned much from their first effort and put their limited resources to better use this time, such that I would recommend skipping their first game and just jumping into this one, since the events of their earlier work are summarized at the beginning of this second game, anyway. The artwork can vary from attractively polished to quite rough, most likely due to time or budget constraints, but even when the quality had to be dialed down, the visuals were effective and consistent.
