To give a quick review first. I do recommend it but i have quite a bit of critcism which i’ll elaborate on after some brief points. The game has a hella nice vibe. good, even hot art. I really liked the environment art and lighting. The Character banter is cute and funny.
Really cool vibe chillhopish tunes (really like the fish titled song at hammerheads, i shazaamed it and it was a nice touch) End song is right up my alley for punk. There’s animated cutscenes at times which are really slick and cool. Like damn cool feeling, YOU feel cool. Like dang there’s a truck scene you feel like a badass watching. Super great work on that guys! LGBTQ+ Representation. As a gay man it felt awesome and wasn’t forced feeling except for some scenes about body identity feeling just sort of wedged in. Like as in it kinda would pop in and out and not feel as poignant. about 6 hours little more if you really poke around everything. going back to locations really exhausting new found keywords. Short simple but largely enjoyable story. While i did enjoy it id probably recommend getting this slightly on sale. 25 usd isn’t steep for 6 hours but with criticism i have below about that. But still personally worth it because It’s an Indie title from a first time developer and i don’t really mind contributing towards them for more from them.

I’m conflicted over this. I did genuinely enjoy this game. I felt it was a bit short but i got about 6 hours out of it and didn’t feel like 6 hours so time flew. I recommend it because i did really enjoy it but there’s a bunch of things that felt lacking, left out, rushed, or unfinished. There’s lots of characters introduced, some pretty abruptly and then quickly just kinda shoved into the background and it feels like there should have been much more behind them. There’s not really a ton of character development, it just feels like some characters got vindication and that’s all the development that’s there. End Spoilers here. Nubbys Number Factory
