Howloween Hero Switch NSP Free Download GAMESPACK.NET I just can’t seem to get enough of Halloween, so why not try out another Halloween-themed game? And what if said game also involves a dog as the protagonist? Well, that just means I’m completely sold on the idea already, that’s for sure. Howloween Hero, a game by Gossamer Games, is an adorable trick-or-treat adventure where you, a mischievous puppy, is tasked with the mission to track down your owner’s favorite candy! It sounds promising enough so I was definitely excited to get started on this one. First of all, Howloween Hero is very easy to play as you’ll only be walking around, talking to people, and picking up stuff. So you’ll only need your arrow keys and space bar. There is a ‘how to play’ section in the menu, but this game doesn’t have a tutorial to start off with. It doesn’t need one either, because I immediately figured out what to do, so that was very intuitive. As mentioned in the intro, it’s your goal to collect tons and tons of candy for your human, but it’s Halloween, so you’ll need to dress up. Your first costume is going to be a simple sheet, which is fine because more costumes can be bought with candy later on. Think about dressing up as a spider or a mermaid. And what is cool about this, is that you can combine elements from certain sets of costumes with each other, creating your own spooky monster. Now, getting candy is quite easy. There’s a lot of candy just scattered around in the streets, or you can go trick or treating and visit people’s houses. Another way to get candy is by completing (simple) quests, which you’ll stumble upon when talking to people. Howloween Hero is not linear, so you can walk around freely and do whatever you please, picking up and finishing quests whenever you want. There is one main story quest and if you finish this one, the game ends, but you can just dive back in if you wish to get all those achievements, so no worries. The graphics weren’t my favorite, as the dog isn’t very detailed, but it’s a short and cheaper game, so I didn’t really mind. I enjoyed the experience still, and the spooky soundtrack was nice.

What bothered me a little more, is that Howloween Hero is rather on the short side. It took me about 45 minutes to complete this game, and if I were to go for all achievements, I think another 30 to 45 minutes would be enough. I felt like it was just a bit too short, to be honest because I was just getting into it, but hey, it was fun nonetheless. There’s some strange stories going around about a REAL-LIFE monster stealing candy from unsuspecting kids. Is there any truth to these ghost stories or is everyone just getting into the spooky spirit? Cute Halloween themed game. Took me about an hour to complete. You’re a dog going around town trick-or-treating trying to get your owner some special candy. You can trade the candy you collect for costumes until you impress someone enough to get the good stuff. Along the way you meet townsfolk and do some fetch missions for even more candy. Overall, I was happy with the game. I think kids would enjoy it the most but it has a lot of charm and the dialogue made me chuckle a few times. A light-hearted Halloween game that gets you in the spirit without any scares. This truly may be the Godfather 2 of indie games. Should a gaming Mount Rushmore ever be sculped, LilPup’s face should be on the most prominent stone. Scorsese himself should bow down to the writers of this game. We loved this game so much!

Collect Candy.

Actually had us laughing out loud as we talked to the different characters. There are several quests, and whichever “solution” you bring to the quest prompts a different response which makes for an entertaining replay. Would be great for all ages and easy to learn. Loved the twist at the end, haha!A delightful spooky-themed collect-a-thon adventure. Play as a pup trick-or-treating, in various costumes, with a mystery to solve to save Halloween! All else i’d want is more of the same please! I’d been following the development of this game for about a month or two, and I’m glad to say how pleasantly surprised to say how such a small game was so enjoyable to play xD And when I say small, I mean concise more than anything. No exorbitant features, straight-forward gameplay. There are a couple of things that might be of concern like how some of the interactable items will sometimes simply fly way depending where you drop them, but that’s not a game-breaking feature. The game is small, but feels alive and I can tell the devs had lots of fun getting this game together. Definitely give it a play, you’ll get a good laugh from the humor and creativity of the devs as shown through the gameplay and dialogue of the NPCs! Buggy resolution detection; required a lot of fiddling with GameUserSettings.ini to get the game to even see my native resolution, and I still couldn’t get it to go any higher for DSR. Movement is floaty and awkward. Lots of commonly used assets which cheapens the whole affair, and overall, quite janky (i.e. you can continue to bark during the credits). Mildly amusing and appreciable in concept as it might be, Howloween Hero doesn’t achieve more than middling, missed potential; certainly not without a lot more polish than currently present, at any rate.  This is a very cute and fun game to get you into the Halloween spirit. The dialogue of each character was hilarious and made it a lot of fun meeting everyone and getting their special quests. The costumes were a fun element and I enjoyed getting to save up for each and wearing them around as I completed my quests.

Carpenter had come off Dark Star, which was made for less than peanuts, and on weekends, so Halloween – made for little more than peanuts but at least with a twenty one consecutive day shoot must have seemed a lot more professional. And he used those days (and more importantly, nights) to full effect. His framing is masterful, concealing Michael in the shadows for most of the film’s running time. Jamie Lee Curtis is terrific in her debut film role, and once again Donald Pleasence makes a banquet out of a potential ham dinner. short game that’s very cute and charming! There’s even options for how you want to complete quests. To top it all off, the developer is super responsive if you come across any issues. Definitely recommend. AND, it’s on sale today  It’s a trick or treating collectathon –
