Ghost of Tsushima Directors Cut  Free Download GAMESPACK.NET Ghost of Tsushima: Directors Cut is a game that encourages you to take your time. Perhaps this is why it’s so beautiful, forcing you to stop every now and again just to listen to wind playing through the trees, or some wildlife padding around the countryside. I skipped Ghost of Tsushima first time around. This was a mistake. If, like me, you didn’t catch Sony’s Samurai-’em-up, here’s the deal. This is the story of Jin Sakai – voiced in English by Daisuke Tsuji, who is excellent – a samurai left for dead after the Mongols invade Tsushima. He becomes the legendary ghost, freeing the island from occupation and becoming the titular Ghost. If you’ve ever played an Assassin’s Creed or Far Cry game, how you do this will feel obvious: You hack up bad guys, you do some quests, you knock over a few outposts. You can forgive developers Sucker Punch for cribbing here though, because Ghost of Tsushima feels different, almost meditative, a game that is more about the journey than the destination. Ghost of Tsushima takes place during the first Mongol invasion of Japan. TOP/BEST ADULT VIDEO GAMES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

Set on Tsushima island, you play as a samurai named Jin Sakai who is on a quest to liberate his home from the Mongol hordes. You must make alliances with various factions and individuals, some of which may not have the best interests of Tsushima and Japan in mind. Ghost of Tsushima’s narrative feels as grand in scope as the samurai films that inspired it, movies such as Ran, Seven Samurai, 13 Assassins, and Yojimbo. Button smashing during combat is a great way to get yourself killed. Like a real samurai, you must be patient. In almost all enemy encounters, it’s best to wait for foes to strike first. Successfully dodging or parrying attacks leaves enemies open to counterattacks. A perfect dodge followed by a counterattack kills multiple enemies in a single strike. There is no greater joy than successfully pulling off a perfect dodge. Changing your stance mid-battle is essential for defeating the four main enemy types. Stone stance is Jin’s standard form, and it works best against other swordsmen. Water stance, with its graceful movements, works best against shieldmen. The quick-moving Wind stance is effective against spearmen.

Honed Skills.

Finally, the rigid Moon stance cuts down even the toughest brutes. Switching stances is simple, and you’ll eventually swap between them by instinct. Challenging enemies to duels is always a highlight. This happens whenever you run into a group of baddies inside forts or in the open world. After issuing a challenge, you and a single foe face each other with ready swords. The key here is waiting for your enemy to strike. They’ll sometimes flinch or yell to trick you into attacking first. If you do, you’ll suffer severe damage when they attack. Eventually, you’ll chain-kill up to five enemies during duels. Duels never become repetitive no matter how many times you engage in them. Your one and only weapon is the Sakai Storm Katana. This may sound limiting, but the vast array of combos you’ll unlock make your samurai sword extremely versatile. Bows, kunai, darts, and various bombs supplement your main weapon, and give you a tactical advantage. For instance, you can dispatch tower sentries from afar with your longbow or use a smoke bomb to disorient surrounding mobs. Azure Striker Gunvolt 3

As with switching stances, selecting a supplemental weapon from the weapon wheel slows time and makes it easier to swap weapons without being sliced open. Killing enemies and completing main and sub-quests nets you experience points. Gain enough experience, and you’ll earn skill points. Skill points unlock new attacks, such as combos, weapons, and techniques. Some of the most useful skills involve lengthening the parry window or regenerating health upon successful kills. There’s no customization to speak of with regards to skills. Still, by the end of the game, you’ll gain enough experience and skill points to unlock every attribute possible. Cliche alert, but the way in which you slowly liberate parts of Tsushima, bettering yourself and exploring this beautiful island, feels a million miles away from Ubisoft’s all-you-can-eat action buffet. Winning a simple fight in the early game feels like a real achievement, and death will come with regularity as you get used to the combat mechanics. Slowly, very slowly, you’ll get to grips with the core loop that underpins fights, but you’ll also start unlocking a drip feed of upgrades: Kunai to stun enemies at range.

A Mythical Land.

New stances that will help you better fend off shield users – or an angry Mongol with a spear. While many games indulge you with power fantasy as you level, here your only real reward is to suck a bit less – even unlocking the mythical Heavenly Strike rewards you with nothing more than a quick unblockable strike to ease the pressure in a tough fight. Greatness in Tsushima isn’t really on the table here. But I’m not really trying to feel mighty. I’m just trying to relax. In our original NME review, Jordan Oloman describes Ghost of Tsushima as a serene samurai simulator and describes plowing through a series of podcasts while playing the game. It feels familiar, I play Tsushima quite passively, plodding down roads on my horse or exploring the hillside looking for a stat-boosting soak in a hot spring, or a fox to pet. Most of this has touched on the base game – the core Ghost of Tsushima experience. It’s honestly really solid. I love the standoff mechanic that sees you calling out your strongest enemy for a duel, letting you trade a stealthy advantage for taking their strongest piece off the board at the start of a fight. I also enjoy the fact your special meter can be used for special abilities or healing creates a nice risk and reward dynamic. But mostly, I just love the feeling of authenticity that Tsushima provides. During longer sessions, I felt totally immersed in a different culture, and while I can’t speak for how authentic it really is, but it is a great time if you’re happy to spend a bit of time soaking in the atmosphere. Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut’s PS5 improvements are fantastic across the board, elevating an already-great game to the next level. Returning Ghost of Tsushima players will love the DualSense features, virtually nonexistent load times, and performance upgrade. Next to games like Astro Bot: Rescue Mission and Returnal, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut on PS5 is one of the best examples of how developers can use the console’s unique features to truly enhance gameplay experiences. While these PS5 improvements are significant, at its core, Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut is still the same game as the PS4 version. This means that players are in for a sprawling, epic, open world samurai adventure that will see them cut down countless Mongol enemies.

Iki Island.

It expand Jin’s abilities through leveling up and spending skill points, liberate sections of the map, collect resources for crafting, and complete various other tasks that are typical of the genre. Ghost of Tsushima’s adherence to established open world game tropes has always been its weak spot, and it really wouldn’t have been possible for Sucker Punch to rectify that problem with the Director’s Cut. This means that a lot of the activities players will be participating in will become overly familiar before they spend all that much time with Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut, with repetitive open world tasks that quickly lose their luster. A lot of these repetitive activities return for Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut main draw, the Iki Island expansion. Players will find themselves doing a lot of familiar tasks while exploring Iki Island, though that’s not to say that the expansion is a disappointment. While a lot of the mission objectives and activities don’t really break new ground, Iki Island is still a lot of fun to explore and for returning players, the substantial new story content is a major selling point.

Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut introduces the Iki Island expansion and new antagonist, The Eagle. It’s a lot more of the same kind of experience that the base Ghost of Tsushima game offers (though a new enemy type does shake up combat a bit), so while there is some repetition, it lets players experience more intense samurai action and take in even more jaw-dropping sights. Iki Island is full of Easter eggs and other interesting secrets to discover, and it’s definitely worth the price of admission for anyone that’s a fan of the base game. It’s more of the same, but that’s exactly what Ghost of Tsushima fans are looking for in an expansion, anyway. Ghost of Tsushima players can access the Iki Island expansion upon reaching Act 2 of the game. Ghost of Tsushima PS4 saves transfer to the PS5, so anyone that’s already played through the base game on PS4 can immediately jump into the new content. Iki Island has new sights to see, stories to experience, challenges to overcome, and trophies to unlock, and should keep fans busy for at least another 10 to 15 hours or so if they want to do absolutely everything it has to offer.

Now, let’s talk about what Ghost of Tsushima: Director’s Cut actually offers, shall we? First, there’s the 60FPS 4K supercharge for users on PS5. This makes the action feel more fluid and if you have a nice TV, the already stunning game will look even better. I’m generally not too fussed about visuals – I want something interesting in a game, and the visuals are just a nice bonus. Still, Tsushima has fantastic art direction, and if you’re one of the chosen few to actually have a PlayStation 5, why not take it all in in 4K? The main addition to the game is Iki Island which offers you another great-looking island to explore, but also a series of Archery Challenges, two new Mythic Tales – with one exploring the Sakai legacy – and even visit monkey sanctuaries, giving you the opportunity to play the flute for monkeys, deer and cats. You can, of course, pet the animals. Narratively, there’s a whole new campaign that examines the island – and like the Mythic Tale above also examines the Sakai legacy in depth.
