Characters: I like the MC. He is pretty badass in a do what I gotta do and take care of business type of way. Not the roid raging asshole kind of badass. Sis is pretty cute and getting infatuated with the MC. The prostitute companion has some depth to her. Other side chicks not so much yet. Not the most memorable cast you will see, but not bad. Writing: Overall, its quite good. There is a bit of Engrish here, but its not as bad as others. It’s quite good in fact. It’s enough to get all the meaning across and manages to not sound stilted most of the time. Maybe slightly lacking in versatility to really bring out a character’s uniqueness, but it makes a good attempt. The pacing is alright I think. It’s pretty unfortunate that there is no penetrative sex yet, because I mean… the first girl introduced is a literal prostitute. Could have shown some sex at the beginning and throughout for this character. But overall, I don’t feel like the pacing of the story as it is now is too bad. There are still a lot of erotic scenes throughout. And the main plotline develops at a reasonable rate. Now the problem seems to be the time between updates and the regularity of it. With that in mind, maybe a slowly unraveling plot and slow burn build up might seem like a problem and I will concede that point.

Sex Scenes: Yes, there is no actual sex at this point as far as I know. The things that are already here are very very hot though. There is lots of teasing and build up. Gameplay: Just your run of the mill VN. Guess thats about it. It’s a very soild VN that could be 5* with some proofreading and consistent updates. The sex scenes have some decent themes and at times even pretty hot dialogue and setting, public play, light verbal S&M and taboo if enabled. Combined with the great visuals they would be extremely hot if they ever felt complete. The only sex scene that ends up with all participants getting an orgasm is one where the MC is not in. It seems like the creator is one of those people that cannot even comprehend a relationship that would continue after sex and is delaying that moment forever so that the show can go on. I mean, even in his dreams the MC only manages to get a handy so you can’t even justify it as story progression even if you believed in the sexual level up trope. On the more technical side the game has its ups and downs. The visuals are especially nice, easily above average. The story is decent; although there are some inconsistencies; like how supposedly experienced criminal sends a text implicating himself right after getting out of jail for lack of evidence. There are a ton of grammar errors, not to a point where the meaning would get lost but something the developer definitely should look through before the final version. Early on there are a few completely pointless mini-games, which luckily can be skipped, so not deal breakers, more like wasted development effort. On progression side I had several 1-option “choices”, I’m unsure what those are about. Perhaps I just missed some pre-requisites for options to show up. But if so, perhaps it would be better to show the locked option to tell the player about it?

TOO EASY TO ATTAIN UNDYING AFFECTION FROM.

The final issue on technical side I had was with auto-paced text that sometimes skipped ahead automatically. It’s a very bad practice when you can’t be sure how fast the player is reading and if you are like me and play on instant text the screen just flashes past it when auto-advance happens at end of text that appears instantly. Overall this one is still clearly very much in progress and might one day be a good game. If that happens I’ll have to update this review… But I’m getting way too cynical and have seen enough of these sex level games that it would be naïve of me to expect it to change. If the pattern holds the next 5 episodes will be the new girl starting from handjobs to blowjob and then in episodes 15-20 we’ll see boobjob with each girl. There are some things here that really tickle my (ahem) fancy. But a lot of it is odd and irritating, and the oddness and irritation is increasing. It’s a VN with choices and minigames. The choices are non-intuitive and either meaningless or lead to game over, so I recommend saving at every one. The minigames are random and feel more like the teacher throwing chalk at you to make sure you’re paying attention. This is a noir, MC is a sleek secret agent, surrounded by lesbians, virgins and femmes fatale. Lots of night scenes, fast cars and gunplay. It starts with intriguing mystery and menace. Unfortunately, this ambience dissipates with every update, and the plot is becoming random, just throwing bits of intrigue at the wall to see if they stick. Dialogue also begins nicely hard-boiled, but by about chapter 5 it’s switched to full- Dostoevsky, meaning-of-life confessional, and gets really tedious. The renders, too, are way better in the beginning, very cinematic. Early on, there is a great sequence where the MC goes out on a mission and gets stopped by a cop. To me, it’s a near-perfect example of using cinematic style in a VN. Really kinetic, and an excellent use of sound. The erotic stuff is often weird, but sometimes outstanding. I say weird because the way the MC speaks in the erotic scenes is really out of character to how he speaks everywhere else. It’s like, “Vodka martini, shaken, not stirred,” followed by “yeah, baby, suck that big cock.” Like, the moment Sean Connery takes his pants off he transforms into Mike Myers. And there are many mascara-ruining irrumations, which, I er, don’t mind, but just wish there was a little more going on. Seems rather, well, selfish and inconsiderate to the lady.

Where the erotic content is outstanding is the scenes with the MC and his, er, houseguest. These are wonderful (even if they are repeatedly interrupted by random doorbells, gunshots, and people screaming). One odd thing about the artwork I have to mention… does the MC have mirrors on all the walls of his apartment? It seems every image includes a reflection. Just an odd way to live. Kind of a rambling review, I know. But my main observation is that this VN is taking its time. Updates are very slow, and quite sparse. I wonder if that’s the problem, the reason why the strong start is going downhill. Is there a kind of creative momentum you need for these things, and if you take too long, and do too little, do you lose it? Like I say, a strong start, but then it’s as if the dev is like, “huh? I guess I’d better toss out another chapter.” It’s a pretty fast play, and there is gold in here, so I do recommend.Played this EGame a long time ago but forgot to give my review… The idea of the story was quite nice at the beginning but it somehow started to fade away after chapter 3-4 (the writing and dialog were very chaotic and at times bad, i think the dev started to lose interest in this game very fast), not to mention the “choices” in this EGame make little to difference… so a lot of unavoidable events i disliked (this EGame suffers from what i like to call a “kinetic novel syndrome”).

Characters are done very nice tbh (specially visually) but all of them lack a bit more “realistic” personality, most were not very believable and some not even bearable. Also the clickfest and mini-games were going from annoying to unnecessary to down right tedious… Jesus Christ why would a dev even waste time on this aspect is beyond me. The rating of ‘Poor’ is based on the overall gameplay experience. You see, while the graphics and renders are pretty good, these are massively undermined by the poor writing (mild but constant Engrish), poor choices over interface interaction (in several scenes you end up randomly clicking all over the screen to find invisible hot-points that add NOTHING to the experience or pace of the story, just because the dev has seen clickables in other games and wanted to include them, but without context, design or purpose. The game also requires extra clicks to transition scenes, making it just constantly annoying. It’s like the guy has shares in Logitech and wants to wear out the lifespan of your mouse faster without caring that it makes the gameplay experience very poor indeed. Some of the minigames can thankfully be skipped – and trust me, you’ll want to because there’s no pleasure or point to the minigames which are largely “guess randomly where to click next” disasters.

The game could have some serious potential, but to reach it there needs to be a major change in focus. For the interface to be this clunky and unpolished after 6 episodes just tells you the dev doesn’t care much for either quality of his product, or the level of experience provided. i give this game 5 stars becouse it have a realy good storry. i think that the storry becomes realy great! the conten is almost 0 but the renders are verry nice! so i gonna Play this game in the Future more and for all who have problems with the “Mini games” just klick the arrow keys botom or top and u have 0 Problem with it!. its a great game and i think the Storry is Verry promising.The dev needs to learn to stop having to click 3 times for every line of text on the screen! It is infuriating! Then there is the poor translation, the frustrating ‘mini-games’ where you have to click things like in a hidden object game, but you have to do it in a specific order or it doesn’t count, which is stupid.
