That game made me feel like some kind of hyper-caffeinated Max Payne, sometimes blindly leaping toward enemies in a wild frenzy to (hopefully) avoid taking damage. I could tell I was supposed to feel like Neo, performing a deadly dance down a corridor of bullets — but I occasionally felt like a bumbling idiot unable to execute the proper steps to win a fight given the game’s limited polish.
