Enemy diversity is great and their placement feels well-balanced. Reaching a new floor creates a sense of anticipation about the types of foes you might encounter. However, the most frustrating part about the enemies is their hitboxes and animations. In particular, the animations could use some adjustments to provide clearer feedback on when an enemy (especially the skeletons) is about to attack. Another very fun system that could also use some improvements; the potion mechanics share the same issue as the rings, featuring repetitive effects and limited variety. Additionally, some potions could use refinement; I found it confusing that certain unpleasant smells can lead to positive outcomes while some pleasant ones result in negative effects.

The ring system is arguably the most enjoyable aspect of the game, as experimenting with various combinations and effects is a lot of fun. However, they tend to offer the same buffs in different flavors, which can get pretty repetitive; incorporating more random effects would be a welcome addition. Out of the 8 spells availabe I found myself only ever using 3 of them. However, I did enjoy juggling the symbols and getting into a rhythm to cast them as quickly as possible. I would really appreciate an update or enhancement to the system. Turing Complete
