Blacked or Bleached Free Download GAMESPACK.NET The plot is barebones, the writing is terrible, and even without the racially charged language which I just attribute to the whole fantasy/fetishization, the dialogue can be so bad that it takes away from the experience. It basically made me laugh when Cecilia Lion had a line stating, “Research shows that there is a rise of racism against Black men”. Nah, really? Each route is copy and paste of one another with even the default names being recycled for the MC and the antagonist dependent on race (Brad and Tyrese interchangeably). The only thing different are the guys as mentioned before, the girls and the scenes you can see. Everything else is basically the same. The game mechanics is barely expanded upon from the multitudes of other similar games in its vein. Just that instead of being in Twine or other interactive fiction formats, it’s in Renpy. Seeing it using images from Blacked or Deeper on its banner kinda baits you into thinking that at least the clips would be good but no, they’re not. Does this have some potential? Starting with the good, Blacked or Bleached uses some beautiful models for its visuals–including reddit’s teeny_ginger_18. The layout is nicely nostalgic of old school html games while still having the superior functionality and formatting of renpy. The place where this game loses me is the writing. There are typos–which are to be expected in a demo. However, first of all, the pace is brutal. You’re going to be holding control to skip through a LOT of repeated scenes. You’re going to be clicking through about 8 different options, every fucking day, even though you always do the same thing. You’re also going to be skimming a lot of dialogue that doesn’t progress the plot but is meant to accomplish… humour? setting? Whatever it’s trying, it’s not doing it well–More on that in the content section. In summary, 90% of your time in this game will be spent grinding and reading the same stuff.

Second, the story has no depth. You’re a guy with some very strong incel vibes who’s surrounded by two types of characters: 1) attractive women who exist only to be your love interests and 2) a ridiculously small number of men of colour who exist only to try to fuck the women if you won’t. The main character’s unspoken motivation in the story, I can only assume, is to “charm” the women before they throw themselves on other dicks. That’s all there is to the story, unless you want to read into the social commentary. Speaking of which… My third issue with the writing is the actual content. As you’re probably picking up by now, the story has some very limited ideas of gender and race roles. The professor character is used as an Aunt Sally/straw man to ridicule feminism and higher education. The only black characters are football players and a dealer who aggressively mistreats the protagonist unprovoked. Your sexual milestones with your girlfriend are measured in “corruption.” Games that focus on interracial themes are notorious for treading on the line of some toxic ideas in the name of kink, but Blacked or Bleached has no time for such nuance and gets downright political. It’s kind of a boner killer.Beacon

This is a demo so I’m sure some of these things will improve with new versions, but I doubt I’ll be back to see it. The main problem with the game is that there’s hardly any content so far. It didn’t feel like the very few decisions have any effect on the story, and it took over an hour to see a whole lot of nothing. That said, the game has potential and might improve a lot with development. The girls are attractive and the writing is generally fine or good. The main issue is how clunky it is to play and how little there is to do in this very early version (v0.1) which is fairly labeled demo. But even a demo should have choices that effect the outcome. It’s more of a framework with small bits and pieces filled in and some characters almost entirely neglected. Very frustrating. There is no meaningful content on the “bleached” end of things, where you are assertive. You can make out with your extremely mediocre looking girlfriend until she gets ‘corrupted’ enough to let you suck her nipples, and that’s *it*. Now, that’s not fair you might say. This is only 0.1. Fair enough.

The reason I’m giving it 2 stars is that the game lets you GRIND for a f’ing half an hour along that path, going back and forth to school and the same tired interactions with your teacher and drug dealer. Over, and over. Wake up > exercise > shower > go to school > click through shit > make out with your girlfriend > go home > occassionally be forced to wank. Repeat that exact sequence a dozen times. Nothing beyond a few wet dreams and promise of things to come, and only when you have fully corrupted your girlfriend, ready to finally be able to fuck SOMEONE, only then does the game deign to tell you “actually, there’s no content here. No fucking for you.” Absolutely infuriating. I will revise my review score if the game actually adds in a warning that there is nothing meaningful to see on the assertive path. the notification noise and animation every time you get a few points of something is unskipable. every day in game you’re going to run into some points multiple times, so even when you fast forward through the daily grind it stops abruptly and makes an annoying jingle to know you’ve got 5 fitness points or arousal etc. its awful. the game makes you grind then punishes you for wanting to grind faster, as if the grind is intentional , the game wants you to waste your time and feel it. the visuals aren’t bad but the game is a huge grind fest, just rinse and repeat every day the same four or so actions while a story slooooowly progresses. Now the problem isn’t having a slow story, just having to do the same things everyday rather pointlessly so you can level up attributes is the problem. its the kind of game where if you don’t click on all the same things every day for two weeks then you miss a scene because your stats were too low. i know its still a demo and the game is incomplete but you still have to grind a ton while nothing happens. Everything that comes after I expect will have an equal amount of grinding to scene ratio. Video games have come a long way since the early days of Pong and Space Invaders.
