The word “simulation” us used incredibly loosely here. Would it be fun for a little kid? Sure. But as an actual fireman looking for some fire gameplay that was decent, this game fell far short. Very disappointed. Overpriced, very short mission-based arcade game which is nothing like a simulator. Worth playing through once if you don’t mind serviceable but cheesy voice acting, a campy story, and a couple levels containing irritating environmental puzzles. The missions you get sent on apart from the interior airport terminal ones are more interesting, such as putting out burning plane wreckage with the licensed, nicely modelled Panther and supporting AI driven vehicles…which you can crash into – I totally read about that somewhere and didn’t actually do it *ahem*. If you’re into buying janky career based games, you’ll probably notice early on this is set on the same airport layout featured in an amazing FIVE different games on Steam now lol. TOP/BEST ADULT VIDEO GAMES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA).

Those of you considering this for the achievements, note this game is unique in that playing it on Hard Mode *only* unlocks the Gold level achievements and NOT the Silver and Bronze ones for each mission as well. Yes, you get to play the campaign through a minimum of three times (averaging 3 to 5 hours each) to earn the difficulty achievements. There are also two bug-prone achievements that should be earned simply by playing through the campaign on any difficulty – the developer was made aware but vanished, not an unusual move for VIS sadly. I’m going to say total play time for a 100% on this one is in the range of 9 to 12 hours. TAMU
