Age of History 3  Free Download GAMESPACK.NET I’ve been playing Age of History 3 since launch, and I might be one of the players with the most hours at this point. I also have over 280 hours in its predecessor, Age of History 2, so I’ve experienced both games extensively. My opinion is based on playing the game with the standard settings. Overall, AoH3 is great, much better than its predecessor, which had some game-breaking bugs. AoH3 introduces new mechanics inspired by other historical strategy games, but not everything is perfect. Late-game balance is a major issue. Once your economy is strong enough, you can build everything and get too far ahead. There doesn’t seem to be a technology limit, so you can unlock technologies that belong to different time periods, which feels unrealistic. Nation names disappearing when you grow larger is also a bug that urgently needs fixing. I originally thought there was a collapsing mechanic, but it turns out that losing a war just means getting split up. However, this doesn’t penalize you enough, if you have a lot of gold (e.g: 1000 gold and 80k units), even with a deficit, it’s easy to rebuild quickly. There’s no real consequence for losing, as you keep your gold, which defeats the purpose of being split. Nuclear weapons should have a more significant impact, like destroying the enemy’s army rather than just decimating the population. That would make them more strategic and game-changing. In conclusion, AoH3 is a great game, and despite the issues I’ve mentioned, I still recommend it. The diplomacy bug from AoC2 is fixed, so the game no longer breaks because of that. With future updates to fix bugs and add new mechanics, I believe it could become even better. Thanks for reading, and I hope this help!
