Miden Tower Switch NSP Free Download GAMESPACK.NET Miden Tower is a role-playing/adventure game from KEMCO. You play as Valen, who’s out for revenge with an unlikely group that includes a wall maiden. As far as RPGs go, this game has all the elements and more. This game is heavily focused on its story, where the Miden Tower is invaded by the Alroval Empire. Your character, Valen, has a tragic backstory, and now he’s out for revenge. During his travels, he comes across a wall maiden who is, in fact, an actual wall. She has a lot of tricks up her sleeve, and, while naive, she aids Valen on his adventure in a lot of unique ways. Before I get into mechanics, let me just say that your character is joined by a few others for you to mix and match during the gameplay. I didn’t care too much for any of the characters. I found their personalities to be a bit cliche, and Valen got on my nerves because he felt flat. With that said, the story itself didn’t do anything for me. I didn’t care about the characters, therefore I didn’t care about the story. There were quite a few scenes in between gameplay where the characters converse with one another, and I found myself skipping through the dialogue. I normally like a game to have an awesome story with likable characters, but I do enjoy RPGs. The actual mechanics of the game were done well, so I was able to still enjoy the game.TOP/BEST ADULT VIDEO GAMES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

Miden Tower has turn-based battles based on a 3×3 grid. You can position your characters based on their stats and strategy for upcoming battles. Characters in the front have a higher attack while characters in the back have a higher defense. Each character has a basic attack along with elemental magic. You can, of course, use items to regenerate your characters’ health, mana, curing poison, and the like. There is an auto-battle as well. I used it quite a bit to test how smart the characters were on their own. The characters only used their basic attack. They didn’t defend, use items, or use their magic. So, this is a great option if you’re grinding for levels, but not during a boss battle. Speaking of grinding, you don’t really need to farm for levels in this game. Throughout each level, there are small pillars where you spawn enemies and fight in three consecutive battles to boost your experience. However, you run into enemies often enough that it’s not really needed, especially since you can change how often enemies spawn. Each area is fairly small, with a map at the top corner of the screen. Entrances and exits are highlighted in green. There are a lot of places to explore, so you can find chests that will have items or armor in them.

Miden Tower stars a young man who you get to name from a random selection of names. I chose Valen because that sounds like Van Halen. Anyway, he’s a troubled dude as when he was young, he witnessed imperial soldiers tearing up his village and killing his loved ones so he sets forth on an adventure while filled with rage and bloodlust for imperial guards. Although this is a very heavy-handed plot, he’ll meet plenty of delightful folks along the way and they definitely provide a great deal of levity to the otherwise serious plot. The first companion that he meets is a magician who can transform into a wall (AKA a wall maiden) who I named Betty because Betty White is awesome. You’ll also be joined by a little sage who I named Avery after my nephew and a tough albeit lazy sword-wielding guy who I named Gruff because that’s what he is. Thankfully, the dynamic between them is spot-on for quirky JRPG fun. I absolutely love Miden Tower’s retro aesthetic which feels like it belongs in the early PS1 library as its characters and environments are rendered in 2D while the battles have this cool shifting effect as you fight. Meanwhile, the sense of humour is great as you watch the wall maiden stealthily listen to guards’ plans while she’s literally just a face on a wall in the room.CRISIS CORE FINAL FANTASY VII REUNION Switch XCI

This contrasts with the hero’s unwavering seriousness perfectly. With all of that being said, although I enjoy the soundtrack, it is quite discordant as almost every little event has its own little ditty which interrupts the musical flow. For example, when you pick up an item, a song starts then you tap a button and it abruptly stops and the background music commences yet again. It’s not a big deal but it does regularly sound jarring. When it comes to gameplay, Miden Tower features a fantastically clever combat system that really got its hooks in me. Basically, your party and your enemies are placed on 3-by-3 grids then you exchange blows whenever a character’s icon reaches the left side of the time meter at the top of the screen. You can simply attack which often results in your pals assisting you with combos, unleash offensive and defensive skills that usually affect an area, perform a character-specific Hyper Art which is useful in a pinch, and use items. You can even set battles to fight themselves which is useful when you’re facing easy foes. Anyway, combat gets complicated as you summon golems to help you in various ways, push enemies around so they line up better, and afflict interesting ailments and buffs. Miden Tower also features rewarding character progression which goes hand-in-hand with the fun battle system.

Sounds like a plan, Avery!

Aside from levelling up and equipping better gear, you can unlock new passive skills via unique items and such which may allow you to learn new elemental magic skills, change party formation as well as tactics for auto-battle, use stat-boosting items, and enhance weapons via synthesis. One element that’s unique to the wall maiden is that you can slide certain bricks into her front and back that provide her with additional skills. On top of all this, there’s an achievement grid that unlocks items as you fill it out and there’s a magic cauldron system where you can leave items for a while in order to eventually multiply or enhance them. When you factor in side-quests, the Statue Smashers mini-game, and an enemy guide that you can fill out; you’re looking at a ton of content that will take a very long time to master. Finally, allow me to discuss some of Miden Tower’s downsides. First of all, some of the environments become rather tiresome as they can go on for a bit too long. Sometimes, I’d think that I’m at the end of an area only to realise that I have a few more massive sections to play through. Another issue is that it’s a bit too easy to grind.Speedgunner Ultra Switch NSP

To be clear; I usually don’t enjoy grinding in RPGs but whenever I got stuck on a tough boss in Miden Tower, I could usually overcome it after minutes of fighting regular enemies and reconfiguring my party and strategy. I wish that it involved more effort because I didn’t really feel like I accomplished much whenever I managed to progress. Miden Tower is more than just a game about a magical, brick wall waifu. While advertising for the game casts the magical wall girl as the hero of the story, the protagonist of our tale is actually a troubled and vengeful young man named Valen. The game combines absurd, whimsical elements with Valen’s core character arc to create a mashup of mature and rote themes. Despite some moments of tonal dissonance, the game offers a surprisingly well-balanced experience that combines its fresh story with steller combat and character progression systems. Miden Tower can proudly stand as one of the best titles developer EXE Create has put out in the last several years, and makes a nice addition to the KEMCO RPG catalogue. Miden Tower tells the story of a young mage who lost his family, friends, and entire village when the Empire their society had rejected comes knocking. Centuries ago, when the Empire asked this city of mages to create weapons of war, they refused, then transforming their city into a massive tower full of individual villages, caves, forests, and other biomes designed by specific mages.

I hope that Skater Egg wears a helmet.

In doing so, the mages cut themselves off from the outside world- that is, until the Empire attacked two years before the story begins proper. Our hero, Valen, grows up to be a cynical, vengeful young man, prone to embarking on solitary excursions into biomes controlled by the Empire to kill any soldiers he happens upon. Chided by the proper protectors of his society, Valen shows no sign of remorse for flirting with disaster by provoking the Empire, nor does he sway from his unyielding desire for revenge. This changes when he finds the instructions for creating a magicka – a sentient being born of a mage’s mana reserves – and when backed into a wall, uses the spell to bring the magicka to life. Leila, as the magicka styles herself, was born from the walls of the tower themselves. Able to transform between her wall form and a more human appearance, Leila follows at Valen’s side as he gets dragged into the wider conflict between the Empire and the mages who inhabit Miden Tower. As the Empire attempts to take over more and more territory within the tower, Valen joins with Mia, an eternally youthful sage, and her enigmatic companion Gruff to take the fight back to the Empire and discover their reasons for attacking the tower after hundreds of years of tentative peace.

Over the course of the journey, the player will explore the implications of war, revenge, the pursuit of knowledge, and of course, how one’s relationships with others can soften or harden their hearts. To say Miden Tower makes bold choices with its story would be an understatement. Both the game’s introduction and (normal) ending prove that EXE Create can do more than play with cookie cutter tropes in designing their stories. However, alongside these more mature themes comes a littany of familiar tropes, jokes, and gags that soften what should be a more morally gray, melancholy adventure. That’s not to say that a mix of humor and seriousness isn’t welcome – I think most players would agree that a healthy balance is ideal – but Miden Tower can sometimes stray a bit too far in the direction of levity, despite such a strong beginning and ending. In addition, the way the plot is told is somewhat limited by the game engine EXE Create continues to use in a large portion of their releases. Character sprites are unable to emote in any meanful fashion, and while the developers have certainly learned to make the most of this through creative blocking and dialogue, the absence of robust animation is felt here.

Miden Tower is a fantasy RPG with a compelling and dramatic story. After Miden Tower is invaded by the Alroval Empire, the mages who call it home find themselves cornered on its upper floors. This sets in motion a series of tragic events that lead to a counteroffensive being launched to take back the tower and to get revenge for the wrongs committed against them. The heroine is an actual wall that provides support to the main characters by merging with walls or acting as a wind breaker if needed. Turn-based battles can be engaged with 3×3 grid battles by using skills with different effects or by summoning golems to take down your foes. Alchemize items, learn passive skills and enjoy the tons of quests and extra enjoyment that await in this magical adventure! Players set out to explore Miden Tower in a more or less linear fashion, traveling to each biome and working your way down floor by floor, ever closer to the Empire’s stronghold, battling more powerful monsters and soldiers along the way. There is no overworld to speak of, and you can fast travel between almost every floor in the game with the touch of a button. That being said, the floors themselves are generally well-designed within the limitations of the game engine. Props are distributed in a naturalistic fashion, and the weaving, intersecting paths you explore offer just enough mystery to keep them from becoming predictable.Marvel’s Midnight Suns UNLOCKED
