In Finnish Cottage Simulator you can relax and enjoy the simple cottage life; fish or hunt, grill food, go to the sauna, play games, or just get drunk. The cottage life might not be as simple as you thought, as you have to deal with annoyances that might happen at your cottage! However, you can do quests and favors for other cottagers around the lake, to get rewards that make your cottage experience easier. I feel like this game has a good base to it but I also feel like it should be in early access for awhile yet because there is stuff to do but not enough I feel like this game has potential to have more playtime if they added more stuff to the game like add more NPC’s, games, more stuff to buy at the shop, more quests, and much more I haven’t played multiplayer on this yet but I probably will in the future but for right now thats what this game needs is more stuff to do in it otherwise its pretty fun.

The game easily gives the impression of Finnish cottage life. The graphics are stunning, especially with ray tracing on! There may not be a lot to do, but this is a simulator, so it’s great for just relaxing and enjoying the atmosphere. Some bugs have been noticed, but these will likely be fixed as they are reported. Despite that, I highly recommend it! Good game, and I hope it keeps on getting supported. Feature wise it did impress me, didn’t expect it to be as detailed with some features as it is. Graphically it does look nice. Gameplay wise, I hope there’s more stuff to do in the future (I haven’t done everything, but from the looks of things, the missions / quests are very generic) It does feel like it’s lacking in transportation aspect, as there is only a bike (and a boat), which you can drive as fast as you can run, and which does love getting stuck everywhere. It’s also really easy to lose the bike Maybe some day there will be more ways of getting around the map, either a car, van etc. (I’m aware there’s a boat, but I’m talking land vehicles) Hopefully it keeps on getting updated and gets more content with time.
