This was a good short Returnal-like game but for 25$ (I got it for $20 but like you know). I wish that there was a more to it. At least add a chapter selection mode for I don’t needa replay the entire game to get some achievements. Your ranged weapons deal like toothpick damage yada yada… You’ll only really be annoyed by this if you don’t switch your weapons though for the final fight you WILL feel that toothpick damage. I wish there were more use of the morph mechanic cause like the morph mechanic is used shortly and like there were only like two time where I said the morph mechanic was cool when the morph had some special abilities rather than just being small or fast.

I really hope the devs make some more chapters and content for this game and make some more special morphs for boss fights (honestly you kinda missed out not making the final fight have something of this sort) In my honest opinion: I’d give this game a 6/10, I wish this game was just LONGER cause beating it in about 3 hours is a wee bit too short and I wish you used more of the morph abilities for fights. I hope the devs read this since I wanna believe this game has potential for something more but right now I believe this game is lacking.

i really wanted to enjoy this game but i can’t because it keeps crashing but also it feels a bit like i’ve been lied to. One thing they covered over a lot was morphing but only a couple of morphs actually have some unique ability or attack. Otherwise they just are reskins of something that can just fit in small spaces. Also the lore that they focus much on is not really that good in fact it’s it’s incredibly bland. But since they focus so much on it you can’t hardly get immersed in the game when the levels you play on feel way too much like you’re in a video game. with some boss arenas just being copy and pasted walls. today was the day! been waiting for this game for a while and it’s funny cause i was like damn returnal is such a good game i wish they had a closer third person shooter or over the shoulder type of bullet helll…and maybe a week later i saw this game was coming soon, eventually the demo dropped..it was dope for a team of 3 people and here we are at release. for $20, the game did not disappoint. it’s a pretty short experience even if you go for the plat but i just finished up going for no hits on all the bosses because for a game like this it seemed like a fun challenge and i must say these guys did a great job. the game didn’t crash once on me, i maybe had one or two minor bugs that resolved themselves quickly. the story unfolds well between towers, the puzzles are fun and intuitive and not overcomplicated, the graphics look good, and yeah a small team with a limited budget and time used unreal assets…doesn’t mean you can’t make a good game. the bosses were fantastic and fun aside from herolix? i think it was i just thought the spacing was too tight for him personally but all the others were intense and lots of fun. this was a success and you guys deserve a pat on the back. way to go for such a small team, the cinematics, gameplay, it all is pretty damn good for what was put on the table initially.
