Former team members have spoken out about this and been promptly banned from the server or have also left the server in protest. My time there was brief compared to the many others who also fought hard for the game to reach the full potential it could have had, but regardless, it pains me to say that your best course of action is to avoid this game entirely. If it is ever completed–a monumental, herculean if–it will not be what people aspired it to be, nor even what it claims to be on Steam. STATIONS AND YARDS.

Great game, in a rough and ready state. I want to start by saying that I have had nothing but fun with this game, it has been an absolute blast and is the only game I’ve played that has ever kept me up past midnight. HOWEVER, it is very much an early access game- physics is sometimes strange, you will be wrestling with the track system for a while before you really get the hang of things, there are odd bugs like locomotive controls refusing to respond sometimes, and QOL features are.. lacking. But, the developers are definitely listening to the community and interacting with them, many of these issues are being actively worked on, and I have complete confidence that with time this game will become an absolute gem, though right now its rather unpolished. In the end: If you’re a fan of trains and train operations, I cannot recommend this game enough. I wish you could automate trains to pick up and drop things off, would make singleplayer great. Maybe add signals too? I wish there was an easier way to build tracks when starting, the worst part of the game is building tracks from A to B at the beginning, it’s literally just walking. Maybe a track-layer for late game would be good? I dunno.

Add more steam trains like Big Boy or maybe even the Streamliner, it’s nice but 2 trains look like they come straight from amusement park rides. I know the devs have an affinity for steam trains and so do I, but some diesels in the future would be nice as well, and maybe some allowance of passenger trains in the future? You don’t even need big modeled towns, literally just a building with a drop off like you already do with the rolling stock would be nice. Overall? Insanely addicting and way better than I expected or any of the videos made it look. Even if you’re not a train nerd it’s basically Open TTD made 3D and you literally cant go wrong with that.But seriously, it’s actually an enjoyable game to play with friends! Building track for hours on end is satisfying if that’s your thing. At the time of posting this review, there’s not a whole lot of content, but there’s certainly enough for it to be an enjoyable experience and worth the money if it’s your type of game!The state that is game in is not them best though is trying to be saved by the lead dev keume. There is another dev named Joao who is trying to transform this game into a Brazilian train sim and is getting into arguments with other devs causing them to leave setting back the progress of the “spline update” every time they do.

Through my many hours playing this game I believe that this game has great potential and is a very fun game though in the current system you have to put many hours into laying track. I would not recommend this game in its current state but maybe later down the line from now.This game released nearly a year ago at the time of this review. There has been nearly zero progress other that some model remakes. I don’t suggest buying this game in its current state. Once the dev grows up and stops ignoring the community I will update this review. Cool concept, very poor planning. I want this game to succeed but the developer is radio silent until drama arises. The uses it as an excuse to get another few months to do nothing. This game is a broken mess and feels very much like a cash grab. I regret this purchase immensely.This game started out with great promise and was full of hours of entertainment in the beginning. It was a game I really enjoyed playing even though it has its bug and performance issues. Sadly though, this game is just going to be a cash grab. There is only one person developing this game.
