RWR is one of the most niche games I have ever played, and it frankly confuses me. The art style and isometric viewpoint are likely the reason for this, but I feel that this game would perform much better with a small marketing campaign and a big youtuber playing it. The gameplay consists of a map to map campaign where you are one member of one of three factions, the Greenbelts, the Brownpants, or the Grey… the grey ones. You perform battle and capture points on the map, once you capture all of the points on the map, your faction wins. Once you’ve captured every map piece, you win a campaign. However, you’ll likely just start out dying because you ran into the same machine-gunner. 9/10 Nice isometric shooter. Helps to have the manual that comes with the game Every mechanic is inconsistent, changing from one extreme to the next at the flip of a switch. One moment your friendly AI will competently push aside all opposition, the next minute they’ll be teamkillinging.
