Pokémon Café Mix Free Download GAMESPACK.NET If you thought the only thing The Pokémon Company had in store for you this month was a new way to get frustrated while brushing your teeth, you’re sorely mistaken. Pokémon Café Mix is another free (well, free-to-play) title for Pokéfans to wet their whistle with, and this one’s an actual game rather than an app that forces you to ruthlessly scrub your wordhole until it gleams. As soon as you hear the phrase ‘free-to-play puzzle game’ you’d be forgiven for immediately closing this tab, opening the window and screaming “noooooo” in your best James Earl Jones impression. Not so fast, though: this one’s been developed by Genius Sonority, who are no stranger to Pokémon puzzlers (such as Pokémon Battle Trozei and Pokémon Shuffle). As the name suggests, Pokémon Café Mix puts you in charge of your own eatery. Starting with a fairly basic establishment, a skeleton staff (not literally) and an extremely limited menu, your job is to serve the Pokémon customers who visit by crafting a variety of dishes and beverages. Accompanying you on this ambitious business venture is Leah, a cheery bespectacled young lady who talks you through the basics and continues to help throughout.TOP/BEST ADULT VIDEO GAMES IN UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (USA)

Each time a Pokémon makes an order, it’s presented to you in the form of a puzzle stage that has to be cleared to successfully prepare the dish. These puzzles are packed with the faces of numerous Pokémon. The central mechanic revolves around using the touchscreen to choose one of these faces: you then have a limited time to drag it around the screen, touching as many other matching faces as you can to create a big chain. When you let go (or when the turn runs out), all the chained faces disappear. Things are complicated a little with the addition of ‘gimmicks’, various food-based obstacles that get in your way and almost always have to be destroyed as part of a stage’s clear conditions. These start off fairly straightforward: sugar cubes and whipped cream swirls (the former is static, the latter moves around) can be cleared by matching a chain next to it three times, while tomatoes have to be guided into a basket to remove them. As you make your way through the initial 100 stages, though, more complex ones appear, such as the marshmallow jars that open and close after each turn and can only be cleared when they’re open. There are 100 stages available at launch, and roughly every time you clear five of them (with a few exceptions) you unlock something.

Adorably Nostalgic Art Style & Music.

This is usually either a new dish, or a new addition to the cafe’s decor. The latter isn’t just cosmetic; they also bring new Pokémon to the cafe. Every time you clear a Pokémon’s order, you’ll earn a star. Collect enough for a specific Pokémon and it’ll be recruited as an employee at the cafe. Having a sizeable roster is useful, because there are different types of dish – sweets, small plates, drinks and so on – and each Pokémon specialises in one of these dishes, meaning their unique special moves are more suited to those particular puzzles. If it’s starting to sound a little convoluted, it isn’t really; it’s actually fairly straightforward as far as free-to-play mobile games go. Speaking of which, you’re probably wondering how intrusive the free-to-play mechanics are. In terms of its ‘energy’ system, it isn’t quite as harsh as it is in some other mobile games, and acts more like a lives system than energy. Essentially, you have five hearts, and as long as you continue to clear stages they’ll never go down. Fail a stage, though, and you’ll lose a heart: each takes 30 minutes to replenish, so if you run out you’re talking two-and-a-half hours before you’ve got a full set again.ONE PIECE PIRATE WARRIORS 4

As for the inevitable microtransactions, the game has a shop where you can buy golden acorns; these are a multi-purpose currency used to buy power-ups, replenish your lives, give you extra turns when you fail a stage and the like. You don’t have to buy them; you’re given some as a reward every time you beat a level and there are a series of achievement-style challenges that pay out acorns if you clear them. Obviously, though, dropping some hard cash – bundles range from £0.99/$0.99 to £49.99/$49.99 – will let you spend acorns on the power-up assists and heart refills that will get you through the 100 levels quicker. Once you manage this you unlock Master Cafe mode, where you get to build up your friendships with the Pokémon you’ve collected by taking on a series of harder puzzles and collecting more stars. The stars you get in this mode are then converted into Master Points, which… actually, we don’t know what they do yet. In a fortnight’s time (and every fortnight after that) some extra normal stages will be added, the Master Cafe mode will reset and you’ll bank your Master Points, at which point we’ll hopefully find out what they’re used for. Many of us grew up playing games from the ever-expanding Pokémon franchise.

A Uniquely Addicting Descent Into Puzzledom.

so I’m sure many will have shared my excitement at the announcement of the free-to-play Pokémon Café Mix. This light-hearted game mixes a soft, stylised art style with a minimalistic backing track, creating the genuine ambience of an independent café. Instead of the usual Pokémon battling from the main series, Pokémon Café Mix presents you with a much smaller world and small business that you must grow yourself. Initially, you run a small shop with only a few tables and a counter, but as you progress through the levels, satisfying customers as you go, your shop will expand. This can be physical expansion, with the help of some very friendly Timburr, or through unlocking new ingredients, referred to as ‘gimmicks’, such as a Cream Cannister or a Nut Tree. Within the levels, these will add an extra level of challenge, needing specific requirements to break them within the puzzles. To progress through the drink-mixing puzzles and the game, you must link Pokémon of the same type within the puzzle in a chain, within a given number of moves. It feels vaguely similar in concept to mobile games such as Candy Crush and Two Dots, but the key difference is the lack of structure to the playing board.Pokémon Legends Arceus

There’s no grid for all the little Pokémon faces to slot into, with everything happening in free fall, so you can link and manipulate across the whole board without needing two adjacent pieces to start a chain. Personally, I found this freedom to be rather enjoyable, as each puzzle turns into chaos as you swirl and chain Pokémon together. Gimmicks add an extra layer to the otherwise simple puzzling, as well as adding new items to your ever-expanding menu, all with a reference to a specific Pokémon. The Burnt-Caramel Vulpix Sundae and the Hot Litwick Cocoa are the ones I’d love to try in real life; they look so appetizing! Using my previous examples, Whipped Cream, when found on the board needs to have a chain made adjacent to it three times in order to break it, whereas Nuts need to have Café Skill used on them. On top of this, you can combine two of the same Café Skills to give it an extra boost in power, and increase the affected area. Café Skills are unique to each Pokémon staff member, who join your staff if they decide they want to help out at the café. These usually involve clearing a specific area of icons and gimmicks, whether it’s a circle, to the left, right, or above, or below. To fill up the Skill Bar, you simply need to create chains!

Three Tiered Puzzle Clearing System.

Simple enough, right? I thought so too, but as the game progresses, you find some levels are far more difficult than others. Pokémon Café Mix is a free-to-play puzzle game available for the Nintendo Switch and mobile iOS and Android phones. Players must run and operate a café that serves adorable Pokémon-inspired dishes. At the beginning of the game, the player only has two other staff members – Leah, a human girl who serves to help the player by giving various tutorials and explanations to help the player fulfill orders, and Eevee, the first Pokémon staff member. The goal of the game is to fulfill as many orders as possible, which will allow the player to unlock more Pokémon staff members, decorations to attract more customers, and new recipes. In terms of gameplay, the café receives Pokémon customers who will order different dishes on the menu. In order to successfully complete each order, players must complete touch puzzles and connect same-type Pokémon icons in links. Each order will feature different requirements in order to complete (e.g. reaching a certain score, clearing a certain number of Pokémon or special icons, linking a certain number of Pokémon, etc). As more orders are completed and Pokémon customers grow more satisfied, the customers will soon ask to start working at the café.

Each Pokémon staff member has their own unique specialties and abilities that can help fulfill orders of all kinds. Additionally, as more levels are cleared, players can expand their Pokémon café by adding more space and getting more furniture and items to draw more customers in. The unique art style of Pokémon Café Mix might be a bold departure from the Pokémon franchise’s easily recognizable anime-style rendering, but it’s definitely one of the strongest aspects of the game. Pokémon Café Mix’s art is both adorable, drawing in players who are a sucker for cute things, as well as nostalgic, a plus for players who’ve been a fan of the franchise for years. For a free-to-play game, it’s incredibly detailed too. Especially with each of the unique menu items, the level of detail and creativity attributed to each delectable dessert or pretty plate makes you wish this café was real. (Personally, my favorite dishes were the “Fluffy Eevee Pancakes”, which are pictured above; and the impressively detailed “Burnt-Caramel Vulpix Sundae”, which is a layered chocolate sundae that utilizes curved cookies to replicate Vulpix’s tail.) Additionally, the cheerful background music that accompanies the game is a lovely addition to an already adorable game.

The songs are both fun and lively, making the overall aesthetic and atmosphere of the café inviting and appetizing. Pokémon Café Mix’s link-style touch screen puzzles might draw in fans of similar titles like LINE: Disney Tsum Tsum or Candy Crush, but what makes this game unique is that these puzzle boards have no structure to them, allowing the Pokémon icons to freely bounce around the board. It can take a bit of time to get used to, especially if you’re coming to one of the abovementioned games, though once you become familiar with the freeform structure, the game becomes an addicting descent into fun Pokémon madness. The game also does a good job of balancing easy-to-understand rules with a fair amount of challenging unique items called “Gimmicks” that require their own unique rules to clear. For example, the Whipped Cream gimmick requires repeatedly clearing Pokémon links next to the icon to make it disappear, and the Tree Nut gimmick can only be cleared with a special item. These additional challenges can make the repetitive nature of each puzzle feel exciting and keep most players from getting bored.Camp Buddy
