Are you ready to help a soulless kitten begin its soul-searching healing journey? In this game, you’ll search for the kitten’s soul fragments across different scenes, meet NPCs with unique needs and problems, and assist them in collecting other items while completing your soul-gathering quest. The art alone is worth it. Beyond the warm colors and adorable, lively characters, I was blown away by the level of detail in this game. There’s so much to explore! At first, you’re presented with a full picture – a landscape of a town by the sea, a busy alley at night… But as you zoom in (you can zoom in like x6), you’ll discover countless hidden details and even some fascinating stories. For example, I spotted Salvador Dalí standing in a balcony with flowers in his beard; Batman glaring at the Joker on a nearby rooftop; Quasimodo (from Notre-Dame) standing in a belfry holding a flower; Jack Sparrow and SpongeBob acting as pirates in a boat, and the funniest part goes to a man is screaming at a mouse by the window, a reference to The Scream.

That said, this game is a delightful tribute to many world-renowned artists, including Gustav Klimt, Salvador Dalí, Van Gogh, Monet, Leonardo da Vinci and so many. What I particularly love about the game is how the developers not only include the artists’ works but also incorporate the artists themselves into the scenes, making everything feel perfectly integrated. Now for the gameplay: The objects you need to find vary widely, and they are often cleverly hidden. Some are camouflaged within similarly colored areas or disguised as items with similar shapes, like the fishbone hidden on Jack’s pirate hat. If you don’t look closely, you’ll think it’s just another decoration. That said, the game offering a hint system so no need to worry about stuck at a level. It took me about an hour to complete the main game, I’d definitely love to play again later. I do wish there were more levels, I also bought the DLC to support the dev.
