You have choices to make which will make the story go in a certain direction. It is not just in dialogue either, for example, one part you are spying on a woman in the shower and you have the choice to keep at it or stop. One thing that is very impressive with this game is the visuals. Now granted some full-on animated hard-core scenes would have been nice. However, the CG that is used here is top-notch and many of the girls look fantastic. They have great bodies and they are also cute in the face to which some other games tend to struggle with. Even the backgrounds have a good realistic look to them too. I just wish the game had more of a soundtrack to it as that would have really tied the presentation together nicely.I can see why a game like Dreams of Desire is not going to be to everyone’s taste. However, if you are someone who likes hot, steamy and very explicit visual novels then you are going to like what is going on here. It ha a bit of interactivity to it as well which I think helps keep you invested in what is going on. Plus, the fact that the game looks great also ensures you want to know where each part of the story goes.

You play as the middle sibling of a family living together with Mom, an older and a younger Sister, and a military Father. As the summer holiday is coming to an end, things are looking grim for our hero, his Dad coming home soon to take him to the military school he was once a student of. Our hero however, has other ideas. He never wanted to be a soldier. As things start to look inevitable, he stumbles upon an old book about the ways of the mind. With the help of newfound knowledge he can change the course of his life. But how will he do it?​ Dreams of Desire is a game that, for me, was somewhere in the middle, but ended up falling on the bad side of the line. The reason is mostly the story. Don’t take me wrong, it has some pretty decent ideas, even though all the “magic is real and there are secret organizations” is way too cliche. But the first problem with the story is how it develops, it has plenty of scenes that don’t add much and many good ideas are lost on the way. And, what is worse in this kind of game, it feel like choices have no impact in how things go on anyway. So it ended up becoming a bummer and, even though I started readin everything with interest, it all ended up becoming a quick skip button mash.IMMORTALITY

And I don’t get it why people call every other “roommate” or “landlady” when they clearly have the relationship of family, not of people sharing a flat. As far as render quality goes, the game has some pretty decent ones. Animations are so-so, a bit mechanical and uninteresting on many occasions though there is some improvement as the game progresses. And, as far as sound goes, I muted it since almost the beginning since I didn’t like the music it played. And, at least for me, there were no bugs worthy of mentioning. So, all in all, it’s not a terrible game, but it isn’t good either. And it ends up feeling pointless and unrewarding to advance.The original version is one of the first AVNs i ever played along with Harem Hotel and it helped get me interested in the genre. It’s not perfect, but none of these games are, there all done by hobbyist and indie developers. The mind control and sleep sex are a turn off to some and if you are super averse to those particular kinds probably best to give this a pass. Everyone else should give this game a go. It’s got the bases covered with the character archetypes and they models are all great looking.

Dev does a nice job with framing and facial expressions too. The addition of sex scene animations really turns up the heat on scenes that were already pretty good with to begin with. The animation quality isn’t entirely consistent but it is way more good than bad. The writing, characters and narrative are all solid and engaging and have enough heft to keep the player engaged with the story. It really takes its time developing, with small increases in sexual acts with each character. That sounds common for adult games, but this one definitely stretched it. There is so much dialogue and plot and it didn’t help that I wasn’t interested in it. There isn’t too many characters, so a lot of the dialogue is the MC thinking to himself. The mother character plays a huge role in this game, or at least she gets a lot of screen time. Because of that, although I’m uninterested in her, I don’t get to choose and still have to sit through a sex scene I didn’t want, and there were a lot. There is a small element of character bonding in this game, but I think it mostly affects the very ending. Characters didn’t seem to act that different based on my choices, which made them feel meaningless. I was just choosing which sex scene to see pretty much. The ending by the way, I have no idea how that came to be. I understand there are multiple endings, but regardless, it felt forced and rushed. It felt like a drastically different game from the beginning and almost comedic. The whole fantasy storyline felt like a side thing. How to obtain the other endings I have no clue. There is very little choice or interaction in this game, it’s almost a kinetic novel.Now this may not be the popular response but I genuinely hated this in fact I’ll go as far by calling this “Boring as Fuck”. TBH I was very eager to play this 1 too since this is 1 of the most popular AVN here but man was I wrong, I did try my best biting my tongue hoping the game will improve as u go along but unfortunately there is a limit to which a man can suffer & this 1 just broke me. First of I’ll tell the 1 & only thing I felt good about this is the character models in fact the Mom is 1 of my fav MILF models(of course nothing comes close to my fav Linda from Milfy.

Applying simple, copyright free music is definitely welcoming, but sex SFX, in my opinion, should’ve been implemented.
