The price is a bit much, but if I wanted some of these physically in complete with box and instruction manual, just one game costs more than this whole collection. I do recommend waiting for it to be at least $35, to me that seems more reasonable. But being able to play my old childhood games between my PC and Deck is just awesome. Can’t wait for online for more games. I will say the experience of playing these games are better on consoles with emulation. My biggest complaint with this being on PC is that I can’t use my mouse to play the games. I was really hoping to be able to drag the cards across the screen. Probably a very niche desire and fantasy, but oh well. That said, I am so grateful to have access to them on steam! Some of the games are very new to me even though they are old with respect to the whole franchise. There is definitely fun to be had if you can accept that these are old games and they just play differently than what we are currently used to. Haydee 3

If this goes on sale or if you are just really itching to relive some childhood experiences, the bundle is definitely worth it. I only put this as don’t recommend because of the price of the content. Had they included Forbidden Memories, Duelist of Roses, and Capsule Monster Colosseum, $50 would have been a justifiable price point. But given how dated and grindy these games, I can’t recommend at full price. The biggest issue for me is the oldest games even with a manual do not give you clear instructions how to play. The first Duel Monsters game for example, fusion is VERY important mechanic for success, but outside of a few examples the manual doesn’t really explain how fusion works at all. You’re at the mercy of ancient internet guides to halfway understand these games.

The later games in this collection are better, but also unfortunately grindy. I can tell you from experience the online experience with these games will be dead just like all the other collection games that drop because of no crossplay. As a diehard Yu-Gi-Oh fan, this was worth it for me for at the price I bought it ($38) because I love these games. For a casual fan, I’d wait for a deep sale and even then only if you’re ready to invest in learning some really dated mechanics for over half of this collection and very grindy games
