This game has so much potential, i love the amount of things we can do like the arena, sending students to tournaments, defending the dojo from rival schools and a growing storyline. Theres literally no other games in this genre. Definitely recommend this game! It’s a fun game in the line of the usual simulator games but well implemented and with a very enjoyable setting. It’s fun to grow your Dojo and progress, and see your students grow. That’s what makes it stand out from the others I think: you’re not just working on your shop, but also on your people. I’d say it’s one of the better “simulator” type of game. It’s janky like all of them but the dev managed to make it playable, including the combat. And the gameplay, environment, possibilities, are unique. The dev was also kind enough to answer my questions, and seems to be open to feedback. A strong positive for me. It’s EA and you should know that before you buy, but I got my fun and hope that future updates make it worth coming back.
